TODAY on a respected leader and nation

Today I cry with you, Singapore, to farewell a well-respected man of the nation.

Today I stand proud with you, Singapore, to come united to support each other in a grieving for the nation.

I have seen nothing but respect all over Facebook. I feel nothing but respect for Lee Kuan Yew, his people, his nation.

Someone I know mentioned that Singapore rulers are like North Korea. That’s an offensive statement for a nation who is grieving. The leaders of Singapore are nothing like North Korea. Look at Singapore today, and look at North Korea today. Look at the Singaporeans today, and look at the North Koreans today. Enough said.

There is no perfect person or perfect leader. But there is always a respected person, or a respected leader.

It’s unfortunate that Malaysia doesn’t have that privilege (anymore), nor does Australia. I feel sorry for the people of Malaysia, and I am concerned for the people of Australia.

People often live for themselves and not for others. That’s the problem we face today.
