TODAY on news of a colleague's engagement

Today I did a very simple thing for a colleague and it made her happy. I was happy to see her happy. I'm not very close to CT but we became desk neighbours quite recently. She got engaged over the weekend. I had many nice chocolates, and a nice blank card at home. So I decided to put some chocolates in a nice plastic red beer cup,  wrap it up with transparent red wrapping along with red ribbon. Also passed the card around to get messages from those who are around. It was a simple gesture but made her smile.  It feels nice. I need to do stuff like that more often: Make myself smile by making others smile.
